No one could say exactly who thought of it first. It started as a discussion in the General Store over coffee. ..........then it gained momentum.
They thought the big barn on the old Schindlerr farm was a good "canvas".
As luck would have it, Jerry and Mike had three gallons of white paint handy.
Mrs. Adjijan had some spare brushes. And, of course, the Changs had that tall ladder of theirs.
Before they knew it, they were full-speed ahead. It was fun work -- happy work.
Just as the sun was setting, they decided it was finished and all stepped back to admire their job. FINISHED ! Just before dinner...... the day before the Inauguration.

Scarlett snoozes on the cabin porch, not at all concerned that the sheep are snitching the apples from under the tree. After a fun day of playing on the swing and gathering eggs, the kids have been called in for dinner. They'll be out with a plate of leftovers for her in a while. It's been another fine day on the farm.
( Check-out the section Customize & Personalize - this one lends itself well to being customized )

Science can now "see" contentment, by observing the changes in our brain-activity. So they tested what input creates a feeling of contentment. The answer was... gratitude. Specifically, making brief notes each day on happy occurances. According to these findings......... gratitude is the mother of contentment.
These kitties will help your family remember to keep a Gratitude Journal !
( it's a little hard to see on line, but the Mamma cat has a name tag that says "Gratitude" and the kitten has one that says "Contentment". They show-up perfectly clearly in the actual artwork ! )
Just before the Sun is fully over the East Valley, Sebastian the Rooster announces the dawn. The first sign of life in the house is the light in the Farmer's room. Butler, the farm dog, won't get out of his dog-house until he hears his master's footsteps coming down the stairs. But he'll be at the front door just in time to make it look like he's been up and waiting or hours. The sheep will make their way to the barn just as the cow and horses wake up. Everyone will get their grain, the cats will get a saucer of fresh milk, Butler will get an egg from the chickens in the loft. The Farmer gets his breakfast last. Looks like it will be a Fine Day.
One morning I saw a Crow fly past the kitchen window - carrying an Egg ! It was from my small, Old English Bantam chickens. He took it to the pasture and began eating it. A second Crow noticed. I wondered if there would be a tiff. But no - the first one stepped to the side and shared - just as I painted here. I guess there really IS honor among thieves !

Have you ever wondered where Strawbery Milkshakes come from? Well, now you know ! Strawberry is a mixed breed; part Jersey, part Guernsey and part Gingham. She wins the County Fair every year. And it's no wonder. She is a very special cow !
These sweet Kitties are way too good to be tempted by the Cardinals (yeah, right! ).... they do know Santa could be watching! The Mom cat's name tag says "Comfort" and her kitten is "Joy". (it's a little hard to see here, but on your large 24 x 18 version, it is very clear)
She is the Queen of the Autumn Garden. The "Potiron" European Pumpkin has long been favored by Fairy Godmothers for use in their Vehicular Transfiguration Spells and have been cherished by everyone else for their graceful shape and impressive size. The first fire of the season is crackling in the cozy cottage overlooking the garden, the Harvest is in -- it's a time of contentment.
